Heretofore such expanding has been secured by pivoting the drawer front at its lower end to swing outwardly. Many of the features of my in6 vention are concerned with the so-called expanding type of filing cabinet drawer where, without increasing the depth of the cabinet, the effective depth of the drawer, when opened, may be increased to permit a generous V opening or swinging apart of the file guides and holders to facilitate the inspection of the desired folder and its contents. My invention relates to filing cabinets and especially filing cabinets having drawers adapted to receive transversely disposed file folders and guides therefor.
